  1. I think I have a long way to go to achieve a heart like David's. Putting myself in his shoes it is hard to imagine being humble, gracious and forgiving towards someone who had kept me on the run and my life in danger for so long. Fortunately we don't face the same situation as David did but we learn that God can change our heart for the better in any situation we face no matter how bad. Thanks for the lesson, Ken.

Yes, we are so fortunate that for now at least, God is sparing us from having to go through what David went through --but I am not convinced this will be true forever in our case. Nevertheless, now is, as you suggest, the time to learn that God can change our hearts. Blessings. Ken.
