Stephen Harper's half-hearted Christmas message.

More evidence as to why Father Raymond J. de Souza is getting more and more readers. This guy is really good. I put him right up there with Rex Murphy. And I think, as much as I am a fan of the Conservatives, de Souza is bang on with respect to this issue. Take a look.  Is this the thin edge of the wedge for the Harper government or was it just a big mistake?

Christopher Hutchins, An 'obituary of truth' on this Atheist -- a Catholic speaks for many of us.

Recently, when one of Canada's political leaders died, the nation was in total shock and spoke of him as if he was Canada's equiavalent to Barack Obama, someone who would save our country like Barack has saved America. Not. I did not think highly of the man but chose to remain relatively quiet. It is the same with Christopher Hitchens and any other atheist that will eventually die.

I think it is important though that you hear what is in my head from the words of someone else. Thank you to Raymond J. de Souza for this excellent "obituary of truth".
