#20 -- I Samuel 8:1-9 -- We want a king right now.

Nothing wrong with a king for Israel. The mistake was why they wanted one, how they were to get one, and when they were to get one. We make the same mistakes in our lives. Check it out. Here's the link: https://youtu.be/gu_q4J-510E

Thinking of rushing God?  Don't.

#19 -- I Samuel 7:7-17 -- You may have sung about doing this, but do you...

In our study today we see what can happen or what God can do if an entire nation turns, or returns, to Him. Join us for that and in the process find out why you and I need to raise some Ebenezers (and no, that's not a name to give our kids). Finally, have you ever known thunder to cause panic? #18 -- I Samuel 7:1-6 -- hosting the Ark of the Lord

In this video study we see occur something we haven't seen since -- an entire nation returns to God. Can you imagine how different the world would be if just one influential nation (U.S., Russia, China, other), just one ENTIRE nation turned or returned to God? Join us. #17 -- I Samuel 6:10-21 -- The Ark is Returned by cows on a cart.

Hello:  I’m sorry I’ve been silent for about a week.  This week I’ve been dealing with management, unions, the Ministry of Labor, and lawyers all day long.  My devotions were primarily spending time in prayer.  But I just had to get back to my own study today and get this out to you all.  God bless.   I hope you find this study meaningful for you.

The passage we're studying here has some most interesting issues to consider. I'll share with you what I consider the most important thing in my relationship with God. And show, by the example in the passage, why we must dig deep when we study Scripture. Join us. Here's the link:  https://youtu.be/ANiR7rqwupA

#16 - I Samuel 6:1-9 -- Do you have some trophies you need to return?

#15 -- I Samuel 5 -- 'g'od vs. "G"od. Take your chances.

There is so much for us to learn in this passage from I Samuel. We need to stop and think about how we behave in the presence of evidence. Check it out at https://youtu.be/zKz4Iu_Gdso

#14 -- I Samuel 4:12-22 -- The death of Eli. His "sun sets under a cloud."

This is a very sad passage. But it also includes the death of a man who served God for 40 years. He didn't day happy. He didn't die well. There are lots of lessons for us. Join us on YouTube: https://youtu.be/ZiDPhskq2O4

#13 -- I Samuel 4:1-11 -- Folly of going into battle with our own devices.

This is a great example of how Christians can fail by deciding to devise their own schemes to face their enemies in life. Bottom line, don't. Join us as we learn what not to do when fighting spiritual battles. Here's the link: https://youtu.be/kzMCrm7_9UI

#12 -- I Samuel 3:15-21 -- Sharing bad news with those you love.

God has put quite a responsibility on young Samuel, but He also equips him so that he can deliver. That's how God works -- especially when we are asked to take on difficult things for Him. Lots to learn here. Join us at: https://youtu.be/aChILMXz32s

#11 -- I Samuel 3:10-14 -- What to expect if or when you hear from God.

This is an excellent example of how God spoke to man and how He may well be doing so today. Here's what we can expect and what we need to know. Join us on YouTube as we continue to study the Old Testament together. Here's today's link: https://youtu.be/wzgb2fJHr0M

#10 -- I Samuel 3:1-9 -- Hearing God's Voice is not as slam dunk as you ...

In this episode of our study of I Samuel, we have young Samuel hearing a voice but not knowing who it is, in fact, he thinks it's from Eli. There is much discernment required in hearing God's voice especially today. We can learn a lot here. Follow the plot on YouTube: https://youtu.be/MNbvbknyoX4

#7 -- I Samuel 2:12-21 -- Corruption in the church is over 3,000 years old.

In this passage, we'll see that a) there's nothing new under the sun these days and b) sin can be committed by anyone. We learn to be on guard for corruption in our churches and in ourselves if we are serving God as a person of the cloth. Take a look.
