Big Talk, No Action, Time Running Out

Yesterday epistoli blogged on all the "talk, talk, talk" that B.O. and his friend Angela Merkel were doing on a myriad of international issues. Talk that nobody was really listening to, and those that heard it laughed out loud.

Today we bring you a story that shows you how futile talk sometimes is, especially in certain situations, Iran being one of them. Two special and credible reports now indicate that Iran may be just two months away from having the bomb. There's no stopping them.

The problem is that the article we've linked to simply suggests that the U.S. now just change their "talk, talk, talk" focus to persuade them not to use it. Really? How profound.

But don't miss the point, "talk" will get you nowhere with these foes. And oh, in case you missed it, when these enemies are concerned about others -- they don't talk, they act. And that's why they and their "convenient ideology of Islam" is slowly taking over the world.

America, Germany, and the rest of the free world, IT'S TIME TO STOP TALKING and START ACTING!

Does Anybody Really Care What B.O., Merkel "SAY" on these issues?

So, B.O. and his 'friend' Angela hold a press conference. And this is what they say. . .
  1. "Unilateral measures are not helping at all."   Talk, talk, talk.
  2. "unilateral actions such as the Palestinians seeking a vote on statehood at the UN General Assembly should be avoided."  Talk, talk, talk.
  3. Two leaders also agreed upon the "importance of curbing Iran's nuclear program" and warned that "further sanctions against the Islamic Republic could follow" if Tehran continued to rebuff IAEA inspectors.  Talk, talk, talk.
  4. B.O. said that he and Merkel also agreed that Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi "must step down and hand power to the Libyan people or the pressure on him will only increase."  Talk, talk, talk.  (Yeah, maybe by Christmas some predict.  Arms sales are going well.)
  5. Merkel echoed the US president's 'sentiments' on the Israeli-Palestinian diplomatic process.  Really more talk, talk, talk.
  6. "I think this was a very important initiative to point out once again that the United States, like Germany and the European Union, wish to promote a further development of the peace process. We're saying this to both countries - we want a two-state solution," Merkel stated. "We want a Jewish state of Israel along side an independent Palestinian state, unilateral measures are not helping at all."  Wow, talk, talk, talk.
  7. They agreed to work together to promote Middle East peace because "time is of the essence."  You get it, talk, talk, talk.
  8. She added: "Given the changes in the Arab region, it would be a very good signal indeed if it came out that talks again were possible."  Now they're openly calling for more "talk, talk, talk" themselves.
Is anybody really listening anymore?   I'm sure both the P.A. leaders and Israeli P.M. Netanyahu had better things to deal with today than this talk, talk, talk, from one leader that cannot get his own country straightened out and another who is on the verge of seeing the EU be hit hard by what is going on in several of its member states.  As my six year old grandson would say, "P u l l e e e a a a s s s e e e e."

Check the above out for yourself from the Jerusalem Post.

p.s. And by the way -- are you seeing the P.A. rushing to have their request removed from the agenda?  I'm not.  But hey, I've been wrong before.  Let's wait and see.

Multiculturalism has failed. Germany and now Britain Agree. New Plans.

Okay, we have momentum. First Angela Merkel of Germany and now David Cameron, the Prime Minister of Britain are on the same page. Will Harper join them? And what about B.O.? (Well, maybe three out of four is not bad.)

This new approach may be good news. But is it too little, too late? You'll have to wait and see. However, I still don't see any evidence of a real sense of urgency in this whole thing. I believe it's urgent and chances are you do, but I don't see that feeling out there in the minds and hearts of people who can really do something big about it. You decide. And please feel free to share this post.
