If Our Own Commonwealth Can't Agree on Human Rights, How Can We Expect Others To?

It is a disappointment that our members of the British Commonwealth cannot agree on a charter of Human Rights.  How sad.  And then you wonder about the world at large?  To me this is a sign of one mixed up world where countries that are generally blessed cannot come to agreement on some honorable things such as Human Rights.  Clearly, darkness and self interests seem to have a stronger hold on us than we may think.  Take a look at the stalling tactics.

Why One's Faith Costs Employers More Than It Costs Him/Her

For all our readers that are employers out there, I am sorry to bring you this news. Yes, it's from Canada, but I am sure the same is true in any other civilized nation that has similar laws with respect to Religious Accommodation in Employment. The reason I'm sorry about this is that clearly you don't have a chance in this whole thing. The law seems to be written that way.

The winners are a) those that want to take advantage of the system and b) the laws that will be hired to defend you.

There used to be an idea that true religion must cost something -- certainly I know my Christian faith needs to cost me something (but it's still worth it). But these days it appears that anybody's faith will end up costing you the employer more than it costs them. And I don't think that's fair.

Here are the details. Take a look and pass this on to other employers you know that may find it interesting.

US to UN: Get Tougher on Human Rights If You Want Funds

And stop pointing figures at Israel alone, when so many are so flagrantly violating Human Rights.   Let's see if they can make it hold.  When you come to think it, maybe that's all the U.S. has to offer the world these days -- funds and markets.   Take a look.  The implication is that the whole scenario -- human rights, jihad, Middle East, you name it, is building a wider and wider web from which we cannot escape with supernatural intervention.   Something to think about.

US may make UN funds conditional on Israel's treatment
