New Maps Needed Soon: "SOUTHERN SUDAN" to become world's newest country.

According to an early morning Globe and Mail report, the early votes show about 96% in favor of splitting Sudan into two. It will be the Muslim North and the Christian South for the most part. Negotiations have to follow on how to split up certain rights like actual borders, oil rights, and what happens to a contested region known as Abyei.

But what's disappointing is that the Catholic Archbishop is seeing this new development as "peace". Well, there is peace and there is peace. Let's see how negotiations go. And let's see how long such a 'peace' can last. Yet, we wish the two Sudans all the best. Here are the details.
