Fireworks IN The Church -- Greek Style!

Okay, I'm Greek and we Greeks have a "flare" for celebrating in ways that others don't always get. This is a tradition that goes back quite a bit and has its rooting in the relationship between Greeks and Turks. If nothing else, enjoy it -- it happens around Easter time.

Unfortunately, I also realize that sometimes this is exactly what happens "in" our churches around the world. When we fire fireworks of words and actions (not what you're seeing here) towards our fellow brothers and sisters, it's because we are having trouble with our vertical relationship to God.
