Wait. Isn't this Deja-vu? Russia may want an arms race.

Isn't this where I came in several decades ago?  Remember the days of Mr. Nikita K. and his shoe at the United Nations.  Well, we may be heading there again if we're not careful.  --  The "we" here is politely translated to men NATO and the U.S., specifically the latter.

And if you read the article I've linked to carefully, you'll once again see that the problem is that these days America, through its un-fierceless leader (I know, that's a double-negative if anything but I couldn't find a nicer description if I tried), is only involved in "talk, talk, talk."  And others are noticing and they won't wait for his non-forthcoming action.

I'm not so sure that it was going to be Mr. N. Khrushchev that was going to bury us with his shoe (or other means at his disposable at that time) as much as it may be B.O. with his lack of vision and passion for the country he formally leads, a country to which up to now, the free world has looked up to but no longer does.

But then again, those are my thoughts.  Perhaps you'll come to a different conclusion as you read the article in the attached link.
