Possibly one of the most significant developments with respect to the conflicts going on in the world today. This is how bad things have become. Now, do they have our attention? Now, is it time for our leaders to pay attention?
It is so easy for many of us to say, "well, they were probably only Christians for convenience in the first place" and thus these reversing conversions are not that significant. I'm not sure, but perhaps. I certainly would not be the one to judge them on that. We can take that position, or we can say, "enough is enough". Anyone is free to change from one faith to another, but not out of fear for his/her life. It's time for the West to act more assertively or at least to contain this new type of individual terrorism from spreading any further. And it's time for Christians to ask "what can we do for our brothers and sisters suffering persecution?"
