Judah has fallen. Jerusalem is in ruins. The kingdom is gone.
But the story doesn’t end in despair.
In the closing verses of 2 Kings, a surprising act of mercy toward Jehoiachin reminds us that even in exile, God’s purposes and promises are still alive.
When everything seems lost, hope still remains.
