That's a good point you make, Ken. We must love our children unconditionally and never turn our backs on them because of their behaviour. I have a friend whose son was gay and determined to "marry" his gay lover. My friend was faced with the difficult decision whether to attend the wedding thereby appearing to al;l to condone the same sex marriage lifestyle or to stay away and risk destroying his relationship with his son forever. There was no middle road. He chose to support his son no matter what. I believe he made the right decision. And yes, Bible Guy, that is just my opinion.
ReplyDeleteThanks Bob. I think most of us would make the same decision should God allows us to be presented us with that situation. There is much in the Bible about being a "loving father" that trumps any other feelings or beliefs. Bible Guy seems to be commenting on the Youtube page, whereas you are using the Epistoli blog page.
