Say it isn't so! Alas, it is. It does not matter what the law really says, what matters is that police, so phobic themselves of complainers, decide to over-react in carrying out their duties. But it takes time and money to stand up and defend one's rights. Just ask this cafe owner (or for that matter, the Christian printer in Toronto a few years ago).
Here is a case that common sense says is inane. Take a look. But go beyond the details of the facts, and look at the "truth" associated therein -- the significance and impact of the story. Hey, if our goal is to be hated by the world, this Christian cafe owner in the U.K. is right on target. Pray for him and those that are defending him. And be alert for similar advances by our Enemy in your own arena.
And by the way, if I find something offensive in a retail establishment, I don't go there. Perhaps this complainer can choose to get his/her coffee jolt somewhere else.
