Sikh students can wear dagger

Now in Michigan and coming to a school near you.   I really do not know what to make of this.  But when we make so much fuss about what kids can and cannot wear in school these days (and rightly so) that have nothing to do with the carrying of potential weapons, it does surprise me somewhat that we bend over backwards allowing kids to wear knifes to school -- even if for religious leader.  I suppose that kids who wear this are not prone to fits of anger or have the potential of using them impulsively to try and hurt someone.   But kids that bring water pistols to school must have them confiscated.  Nice.  Very nice.   But hey I'm old-fashioned.  Clearly today's educators know much better.   (They know how to give in to minorities.)
