Sunday Morning News - January 30, 2011

FoxNews Rpts: U.S. Embassy tells Americans they should consider leaving Egypt as soon as possible because of unrest, violence and ongoing demonstrations against President Hosni Mubarak's government.

BBC: Netanyahu of Israel monitoring situation carefully but has told his ministers to stay silent for now.  Israel wants stability in the region and this situation upsets that.  Worse case scenario for Israel would be the Muslim Brotherhood take over or win in any future elections.

BBC: Military helicopters and jets now flying over Cairo.  But to "cut a deal" with the Egyptian people the government needs to return the Internet for starters.

CNN: U.S. Embassy in Cairo says it will assist U.S. citizens who want to leave Egypt. Flights to depart on Monday.

BBC: One doctor reported 50 people shot (wounded not necessarily dead) in the last 24 hours.

CNN: John McCain -- his greatest fear is that this revolt turn out like Iran as compared to the Phillipines; that is, an Islamic regime.  The longer it takes the greater the chances it going that way

  1. If the Muslim Brotherhood achieves power it will be much worse for the Christians who are already badly abused.
