Whoever would have thought that the request of God's that we "don't hide our light under a bushel" has a sort of parallel in the O.T. with the story of Rehoboam, the King of Judah? My family has lost a child and it was devastating. But today as I was studying 1st Kings 14:10-20 I found one reason that God may have some times in taking away a young child. This helped me. I hope it helps you.
