Canada's NDP Must Drop Its Union Privileges If It Wants to Remain A Contender

I can't believe they're even having this debate. Or that these privileges for "unions" at an NDP convention ever existed. Where have I been? Certainly not among them. There was a time when Tommy Douglas was in charge, that I believed the party had a chance. But no longer. And especially not if the unions get to call the shots. With the economy the way it is and the way it may be heading still, most Canadians will want to stay as far away from a party where "unions govern" as possible. At least this one will.

I don't know of too many countries that have been saved by "unions" and I can name a few, starting with Greece, that can blame unions for their current situation.
