What Does One Make of This Prediction re. Israel and Iran?

Okay, I'm not publishing this because I think it is the "gospel truth". I don't know. But I am wondering why The Jerusalem Post is publishing it. Let's take a closer look. The headline reads, "Ex-CIA officer (says): Israel likely to attack Iran in September". But there's more to it than that.

First we have an ex-CIA officer saying on the radio in L.A. that the attack on Tehran will likely be in September, before the U.N. vote on a Palestinian State and that Netanyahu wants to get the U.S. involved.  The fact that he is an ex- officer does not bode well for reality.  But this guy did spend 21 years in the Middle East, including in Lebanon and Syria.  That helps his credibility.    No sources were revealed.  That hurts it.  A reference was made to Mossad chief Meir Dagan saying an Israeli attach was "no bluff".  Helps it.

Apparently he also said that there's a "warning order" inside the Pentagon to prepare for conflict with Iran.   I'm not sure what a "warning order" is but apparently the Pentagon issues them from time to time according to other sites on the Internet.  But again, says who?

The prediction is that some nuclear sites will be attacked and that Iran will strike back but in Iraq -- why Iraq and not Israel it is not clear to me, but I'm sure there are political reasons.  Maybe that's the only place they can hit at this point in time.  After all, where else would they attack since Iran's nuclear arms potential is their main worry?

And here's the last bit of information -- there was no response from Netanyahu's office.  Now what does that mean?   Someone is playing this for all it's worth.   But there's enough happening that it just may be true.   It comes from a legitimate source (The Jerusalem Post) and the U.S. media (aside from the radio in L.A. is so far avoiding it).   That's enough to make me think it's important to get it out there.  But it also may be a plant both in L.A. and in the JPost.  Take a look. . . .
