U.S. Averts Shutdown Over Budget As It Funds $20M for Remake of Pakistani Sesame Street.

Sorry, but the timing stinks and so does the goal. This is absurd. The world is going to hell in a hand-basket. Sesame Street has gone the way of the dodo bird for most Americans. Millions of us survived childhood without it. And now the U.S. (almost financially bankrupt itself) is funding a Pakistani version or remake of the show. Nice, very nice. Yes, that's exactly what the children of Pakistan need.
