Police Warn How To Protect Your Kids and Grandkids With Your SmartPhone

A friend sent me this from our city's police department, but it applies world-wide.

Criminals can track smart phone posted/email pictures by gps-tagging built in technology
If you post or email photo’s from a smart phone, please watch this video.

To disable this function on your particular smart phone go to this web site.

The GPS information on Longitude and Latitude is embedded in the photograph when taken and then saved on the phone or uploaded to the internet.  Criminals with free available programs can retrieve t he GPS information and simply Google Map the location of the photograph.  This can give away your home address, your children’s school or any other location you want to keep private.

Please disable this function on your smart phone camera as soon as possible to help keep your children safe.   And then pass this blog on to others to read.
