What is the Muslim Brotherhood?

An excellent question and CNN gives us a good stab at trying to answer it. I would caution you though that the Network is quite liberal and presents a liberal, guarded description of the organization. You may wish to investigate some other accounts, but in a pinch this one will do.

What is interesting is that while officially the Muslim Brotherhood may not prefer violent methods to get its way, some of its many uncontrollable factions seem to, by their actions and activities.

Clearly this is a group that would vie for political power in all the current seven countries where civil unrest and efforts to topple the government are taking place.
