Now Add Jordan to the List . . .

Yesterday we gave you a list of Pro-democracy and anti-government protests that have erupted across North Africa and the Middle East this month (courtesy of the CBC News).  It listed: Egypt, Tunisia, Morocco, Lebanon, Aleria.   That's five.  Well, make it six this morning.  Add Jordan.

What in the world is going on in the world?   I don't believe we've seen this scale of civil dissatisfaction in recent history (or longer).

There must be a common thread.  One that I noticed is that radical Islamic movements are involved in all of them.  Is this there new way of attacking the world that they threatened us with?  Perhaps.  You be the judge.  But be aware of what's going on.

Something to think about: "what could happen looking forward?" in all these countries?  In Egypt, if Mubarak falls there is tremendous concern that Egypt becomes an Islamic State and in the end, the democracy the people want will not rule at all.   The concerns are repeated everywhere this is happening.   (For its part, though, the Mubarak government has shown no sign of even willing to listen or talk with the protesters.)

For the Christian, the world is unfolding as predicted.  But hey, it only matters to those listening.  Some will go down to their death, deaf.
