Hawking Has Gone Mad in My Opinion. . .

In his new book, Stephen Hawking (retired) along with co-author Mlodinow try to eliminate God by basically saying, 'gravity did it all; there was no need for a creator; everything did come from nothing'. Here's the problem with that:

First, from Sir Isaac Newton: "Gravity explains the motions of the planets, but it cannot explain who set the planets in motion."

Second: "The folly of Hawkings' claim is pretty obvious," E. Calvin Beisner, national spokesman for the Cornwall Alliance for the Stewardship of Creation in suburban Washington, D.C. "The law of gravity is, of course, not nothing, and consequently the universe's spontaneous self-creation wouldn't be a creation from nothing anyway."
