CNN's Cooper Gets Angry, But Should He?

Here's something you don't see too often. A journalist (for lack of a better word -- guys like Anderson Cooper in my opinion are simply well-paid 'commentators' who present the news they want to, and present it in the way they want to present it, and yes FoxNews has some as well) -- anyway, Cooper gets upset that the oil spill Commission Report said something erroneous about him and his show. He's lucky his employer will let him get his beef off his chest. Thousands of us don't have that privilege when we are misquoted or simply ignored.

But he must be crazy if he thinks that the majority of us believe, for one moment, that network producers of his type of show don't select their guests very carefully to present their point of view. How many times have so many of us been recorded or taped for a sound bite, only to find out that they take one phrase out of context, using only it to get their point across. And if we're not giving them sound bites that match their need, the hunt for the elusive utterings continues with others. Oftentimes, it's more of an audition than an interview. Come on, Anderson, we're not all that naive.

The nice thing about your video is that it shows you can cry wolf just like the rest of them.
